As part of our advocacy of maintaining collaborative workspace and work-life balance, we have Employee Engagement Ambassadors who have infused fun into the workplace by conducting various engagement activities (e.g group dynamics, games, ice-breakers, happy hour, et.c.) which are fun-filled and will help them bring out their leadership potentials while participating to those activities. At the end of each activity, they have come into a quick discussion of what values did they learn after they participated the team activity.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

Each week, we do a performance evaluation to ensure their work is on track and they’re meeting the weekly goals for their assigned projects. The two parts of our weekly performance monitoring include Technical Evaluation as well as Behavioral Assessment where managers look into the various factors pertaining to how employees interact within teams.

Using the 5-point rating scale, all employees are expected to get at least a rating of 3.0 which is described that their performance is “Within Expectations”.

It part of our strict policy that employees who do not pass the 3.0 minimum rating for two consecutive times will be put in the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), and if they fail to improve the Management will decide to let them go due to willful neglect of their duties.

CAREER ADVANCEMENT

iPhiTech is very keen to monitor the performance of its employees. When employees have shown consistent and exemplary performance, the Management will put them in the iPhiTech Accelerated Career Advancement Program (iACAP) where a series of high-level and specialized training is given to them to improve their technical prowess further and hone their leadership.

MILESTONE 3:

STEVE & MARK GRADUATES: RUNNING THEIR ‘OWN TEAMS’

Managers who have successfully completed their (a) Executive Training and (b) Immersive Corporate Experience as part of the Steve & Mark Program are now ready to move out and start running their own teams.

BUSINESS PROPOSAL

Steve & Mark Program graduates will prepare a business proposal on the type of business that they would like to establish. This is where their ‘dream business” may come in. iPhiTech will carefully review and assess the viability and feasibility of the said business to ensure its success and profitability.

These are some of the key elements that we look into in the business proposal of our Steve & Mark Program graduates.

Office Arrangements

A. Key Locations

We are strategically selecting the regions in the Philippines where we will place the offices for the teams of our Steve & Mark Program graduates.

B. Renting a Space

To streamline the initial overhead costs of putting the first office iPhiTech, together with Steve & Mark Program graduates, agree to rent out an office space instead of acquiring a property for the first 5 to 10 years of their businesses.

C. Look and Feel

We love extraordinary offices. We scout for the most beautiful houses with great amenities. Then, we carefully convert them into our offices. We would like our team members to work and stay in the offices with a “homey” vibe. This creates  more conducive and modern approach to the normal workplace setup.

D. Maximum Members per Office

To optimize the overall experience of our members, we will only place a maximum of 10 to 20 members in every office. Every member is given a set of projects which are sustainably profitable. This way we can maximize our earnings for every penny spent.

E. Quality Assurance Audit

We have carefully  trained our Leadership Team to perform  quality management audit to carefully appraise each office and how employees working inside the office. Our team will also leverage in getting a quality assurance auditing firm per region to boost and maintain high-performing teams.

iPhiTech has a long-standing tradition of providing free accommodation for all 10 members per office to ensure that they get along and establish cohesive teamwork.

Partnerships

We are eyeing to build partnerships and collaborations with government agencies, private organizations, financial and academic institution that can extend help and expertise in growing the businesses of our Steve & Mark Program graduates to the next level.

Our managers are being sent to reputable universities to pursue post-graduate studies in Ivy Leagues schools in the country  which may last for 1 to 2 years. This is as part of preparing them for high-level thinking and corporate governance.

BUSINESS REGISTRATION

iPhiTech will fund the approved business proposal of the Steve & Mark Program graduates and help them with all the required documentation and pay for all the overhead expenses so the business will be successfully registered as a corporation under their names.

With this type of business registration, there must be at least 3 to 5 incorporators whose names will be duly used for the registration of the approved business of the Steve & Mark Program graduates.

In the roster of incorporators, iPhiTech must be duly represented by 1 or 2 incorporators whose names will be duly part of the business registration.

iPhiTech receives a lucrative and sustainable passive revenue stream for the next 10 years from each  business established by the Steve & Mark graduate through iPhiTech funding and executive mentoring and guidance. During those years, iPhiTech owns the majority of the shares of the said business.

On the other hand, iPhiTech remains the 30% shareholder of the said business starting Year 10 and beyond. This entitles iPhiTech to receive passive earnings from each business that was established through Steve & Mark Program for perpetuity as long as the business runs.

With our intricately designed and well-drafted agreement with Steve & Mark Program graduates, iPhiTech ensures that our best interests are protected and remain profitable.

LIMITATIONS OF SUPPORT

iPhiTech is expected to provide financial support to boost the newly launched business of the Steve & Mark Program graduates. Depending on the current budget of the company, this financial support to be given to them will strictly follow this structure:

The Steve & Mark Program graduate shall run the business with due diligence in terms of decisions. All concerns shall be raised to the iPhiTech Management for possible consultation. Final decision however is given to the major shareholder of the business.

The Participant shall submit the following monthly financial projections and reports to iPhiTech IT and Digital Solutions Corporation to foster transparency and integrity that would strengthen the business partnership of 2 companies:

3. Projected Monthly Net Income Before Tax

Problem 1: Decongestion of the BIG cities

A lot of graduates from various universities in the provinces are struggling to find jobs in the metro, or else they will work hard despite the congestion in the big cities. Through our Steve & Mark Program where we offer totally FREE food and accommodation to all employees. This may lessen the burden of employees and just concentrate further at work.

Our goal is to help empower people and create their own team in the areas where they are comfortable to work but where there is stable supply of electricity, and internet. The plan is continue producing “Steve & Mark” graduates, which is our banner program for employees. 

Where we can get AirBNB houses for rent and in-house only 5-10 employees there. Per areas of a “region or province”, we are looking at 4 offices per municipalities.

Let’s specifically cite one example in Central Luzon, particularly in Pampanga where we already have 7 graduates of Steve and Mark Program.

We hire/recruit employees for each graduate and while they are on their residency with us as employees, they get to know their members until such time that they are full ready and stand on their own.

Problem 2: Most Employers Distrust Virtual Assistant (VA) Agencies

The problem that we see from employers hiring virtual assistant agencies is TRUST. A lot employers getting VAs have nightmares that they just leave their jobs right away. Usually employers would hire on a basis of interviews and exams, however, they lack the confidence of keeping the VAs because along the way, there can be lack of skills.

We’ve been growing for the past few years, and now that we’re at an optimal number of employees to accommodate new projects coming in as well with Steve & Mark program employees, graduating from their training programs. Through the Steve and Mark program, iPhiTech gets a huge percentage from it.

Now our overhead costs will no longer be spent on new equipment but rather upgrade of equipment. Also, funds can go towards nourishing current members through training making us more attractive to clients and shall double or even tripple our value.

Our overhead costs are now stabilized and one key strategy to increase revenue will be done by growing our customer base, increasing the average sale amount, and our new ways to monetize our services. We will also sell to clients our e-Books and courses that are published in DigitalHenyo which we own. We are also planning to increase the number of clients that each software and web engineer is handling (from 1 to 3 maximum clients).

We are also into reducing expenses. This will be done by lowering production costs, streamlining operations, and looking for new suppliers and service providers such as where we get our food supplies since we’ve only been buying supplies directly from malls. We also used to buy a lot of things for our website technology, employee birthdays, company events and many unnecessary expenses. We’ve learned a lot in the past 5 years of operating, and now we’ve so much expenses to cut, while making sure that we maintain our value and employees.

By implementing these strategies, our business can see a significant increase in net income this year and in the coming years.

Selecting participants for the  Steve & Mark Program is an integrity-driven decision. The integrity of our employees are monitored, strengthened  and tested more frequently even before they reach 3 to 5 years of tenure in the company.
